Samsung Scholarship
- The Samsung Corporation of Korea granted the American Legion with a very large endowment in gratitude for the sacrifice of American Servicemen during the Korean War. The money is to be used for scholarships awarded to children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, or adopted children of a U.S. Veteran who served during a time of war. An undergraduate scholarship to be used at an accredited U.S. college or university; the scholarship is awarded only to Boys State and Girls State delegates who qualify nationally.
