The Oklahoma Boys State First Responder Academy immerses the delegates into three fields of the Emergency First Responder.
Our Law Enforcement track features deputies and police officers from the Muskogee County Sheriff’s Office, the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office, the RSU Campus Police, and the Claremore Police Department and immerses the delegates into real-life training scenarios such as traffic stops, building searches, active shooter situations, and much more.
Our Fire Service track features firefighters from the Claremore Fire Department and surrounding fire departments placing the delegates into real-life scenarios and training received by firefighters, such as wearing bunker gear, SCBA’s, and other specialized equipment used by the fire service.
Finally, our Emergency Medical Services track will allow delegates to use equipment used by paramedics in the field. Paramedics, EMT’s, Pilots, and Flight Nurses from Pafford EMS and AirEvac Lifeteam will train delegates in real-life scenarios that EMS is faced with on a daily basis.
